Porsches, Lamborghinis, Jaguars, and other luxury vehicles have been taken away during a raid by the Hawks and Asset Forfeiture Unit on 13 properties belonging to 16 individuals including former eThekwini Mayor, Zandile Gumede in Durban.
Gumede has been served with papers relating to the seizure of her assets.
This is believed to be linked to a multimillion-rand fraud and corruption case.
The AFU and Hawks intend to seize R51-million in assets today.

It’s understood at least 13 properties linked to #ZandileGumede and her co-accused are being hit today. Porsches, Lamborghinis, Jaguars and other luxury vehicles have already been seized. Cash has also been found. The AFU and Hawks intend to seize R51-million in assets today.
