Driver code 10 with pdp. 1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Transports passengers to and from various designated points and following a pre planned route according to a definite time schedule in accordance with the Operational Managers specifications. Regulates heating equipment and ventilation of bus for comfort of passengers. Drives bus carefully and in compliance with traffic regulations. Assumes responsibility for the safety of passengers in loading, unloading and transporting them to and from their destinations. Instructs passengers of safety precautions and practices.

Inspects and sweeps bus. Checks water, gas, oil and mechanical condition before leaving on run. Reports delays and accidents. Keeps operational records and makes simple reports. Reports defects or problems with vehicle to Fleet manager on a daily basis.

2. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (What is required to perform the Essential Duties?)

2.1. Previous experience relevant to the post and proven professionalism in passenger transport
2.2. Knowledge/ Ability to work with disabled passengers and reaction to their needs
2.3. Basic Computer Skills – essential ( MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Pastel)
2.4. Two to three years of relevant work experience
2.5. Sound knowledge of transport operations demands
2.6. Previous driving experience and knowledge of passenger vehicles
2.7. Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks at once and meet deadlines under pressure
2.8. A valid Code 10 Drivers License with PDP
