Job Purpose:
To manage the airfreight import and export product services to clients. To manage all aspects of the airfreight delivery/collection requirements. Deliver a customer service in line with OTIFNE. Maintain sound relationships with internal and external clients, third party service providers and other stakeholders ensuring solid platform for future growth. Ensure consistent service excellence and add value. Look after Company vehicle, carry out daily inspection checks, and complete check sheets. Complete daily delivery schedules.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Matric Certificate essential.
- A valid, unendorsed Code 10 driver’s licence.
- A valid PDRP
Key Responsibilities:
a. Ensure all shipments are handled in line with client requirements.
b. Physical handling (loading and offloading) of client’s cargo at Airport, Road Haulier Depot, Warehouse and client’s premises
c. Ensuring cargo is in perfect outward condition before signing acceptance of the cargo.
d. Taking care of the Company vehicle, daily roadworthy checks and report any faults to Management
e. Taking care of the load the vehicle is carrying at all times, doors locked, Load body doors locked and vehicle locked and armed when unattended.
2. Working with Air Import / Export teams
a. To work with Air and Export teams and assist in General Air Duties.
b. Identify any issues of concern and elevate to management for resolution
3. To achieve the OTIFNE (On Time In Full No Errors) performance requirement ensuring client satisfaction
