Full Job Description:
Duties:
EB Licence Essential
Able to tow a heavy-duty 6m long trailer and tow units ranging from 2.4m wide to 3.4m wide (With abnormal permits)
Delivery and collection of modular park homes.
Loading and offloading of modular park homes.
Ensure delivery note is completed with exact location of where the unit was delivered to.
Ensure that the client signs the delivery note before leaving site.
Must be able to articulate/interact professionally with clients at all times.
Will be required to travel long distances and may be required to work overtime to ensure delivery is completed.
Marketing to be done if not delivering or collecting above mentioned units. This includes robot drops, and handing out of pamphlets and business cards.
Be on time for work and deliveries.
Follow the rules of the road and road traffic management act.
Adhere to speed limit at all times and keep a safe following distance.
Plan route efficiently to ensure the best route is taken. (From efficiency point of view).
Ensure vehicle & Trailer are inspected daily for any damages so that repairs can be carried out timeously to avoid downtime or major breakdowns.
Ensure vehicle is booked in for a service when due and report need for a service 500km before it is due.
Pre – Employment requirements:
Valid SA Drivers Licence (Code EB – Heavy duty)
Neat and presentable
Alternative foreign driving license with international driving license and EB equivalent.
Speak English
A valid work permit if not an RSA citizen.
