Divorcing Bill and Melinda Gates prepares to share their $130 billion fortune. According to Forbes, Bill and Melinda Gates are worth $130 billion and are the fourth richest in the world behind Bezos, Elon Musk, and French luxury goods owner Bernard Arnault.

Divorcing Bill and Melinda Gates are preparing to divide their $130 billion fortune which includes Da Vinci artworks, private jets, and luxury homes – including a $125 million futuristic eco-mansion called Xanadu 2.0.

The couple, who married in 1994, have as their main home a $125 million lakefront mansion near Seattle which has a 100-seater dining room, a pool with fossils and a vast library with a Great Gatsby quote engraved.

They also own a $43 million estate in Del Mar, California plus a $59 million ranch in Florida, and a Wyoming home. The divorcing Bill and Melinda Gates also own private jets and have an amazing art collection, including a $30 million Da Vinci Codex.

The duo that has three children – Jennifer, 25; Phoebe, 18; and Rory, 21 announced in a joint statement that was posted on Twitter that they were divorcing ending their 27-year-old marriage.

Melinda said the marriage is ‘irretrievably broken’ in court filings – which also reveal the couple have no prenup agreement.

The pair posted on Twitter Monday and said their philanthropic work through the Bill and Melinda Foundation will continue but their marriage will not – adding ‘we no longer feel we are able to grow as a couple in this next phase of our lives.’
