An investigation has found that a multi-million-rand contract between the health department and Digital Vibes was irregular.
The company is said to have benefitted R150-million from the contract.
Among the findings were a conflict of interest and contravention of the tender bidding process.
Health Minister Zweli Mkhize said his department is promising to tackle corruption.
He said legal action is underway to retrieve the money awarded to Digital Vibes.
“We have been legally advised that we can not fully disclose the details of the report and plan of action,” Mkhize said.
#DigitalVibes Mkhize “The DG has reported to National Treasury. Consequence management is also underway. Legal processes to recover the funds has already commenced.”
