The responsibilities of a DCM will be to maintain a portfolio of clients, by performing the following on a daily basis:

Online Marketing Research and Assessments

o Identify the target market and audiences.

o Research the industry, including keywords research.

o Make recommendations and suggestions to the client.

·Google Ads

o Must set up Google Ads campaigns on the

Search Network;

Display Network (including Gmail Sponsored Promotions & Remarketing);

and YouTube.

o Manage assigned clients’ pay-per-click (PPC) on a daily basis for increased visibility and conversion rates on the Google search engine and content network.

o Ensure that all assigned clients’ Google Ads campaigns are performing and exceed normal standards.

o Take initiative and provide suggestions as to how to improve campaigns.

o Perform keyword and industry research.

o Follow Google best practices to ensure campaigns are up to standard.

Search Engine Optimisation

o Manipulate Titles, Meta Descriptions and Keyword Tags on a variety of website types, including:

§ HTML

§ PHP

§ WordPress

§ Joomla

o Check that the websites’ content is relevant.

o Identify any optimisation flaws and correct where necessary.

o Perform keyword research.

o Schedule SEO content.

o Load SEO content on websites.

· Basic Webmaster Functions

o Make changes to a variety of website platforms and systems.

o Create additional pages for conversion tracking purposes.

o Change code to increase elements related to website speed.

· Off-Site SEO

o Comment on relevant local and/or international blogs, if required.

o Promote clients’ websites on blogs, forums, and wikis when possible and if required.

· Client Communication, Relationship Management, and Reporting

o Communicate with clients if and when necessary.

o Evaluate the monthly website performance report, identify areas that need improvement, and communicate the suggested improvements with each client and relevant team members.

o Generate and provide each client with monthly website performance reports via the relevant tools.

o Report statistics to the relevant team members and the relevant client.

o Participate in client and prospective client presentations to deliver search strategies and, upon request, the scope of work and pricing estimates.

o Interact with the Account Manager (AM) to understand the clients’ business objectives and user goals.

o Research and develop campaign opportunities, and educate the client and relevant staff members within the Company.

o Attend meetings when necessary or requested.

· Working with Google and Other Related Products (or as required by management)

o Search Console/Google Webmaster Tools

o Google Analytics

o PageSpeed Insights

o Google Mobile-Friendly Test

o WooRank

o Web CEO

o Raven Tools

· Skills Development

o Continuously develop skills, which must be up to date with current developments within the industry, by way of research.

o Write and pass all the necessary Google exams.

o Do regular short courses and/or read useful skill enhancement articles and White Papers.

· Administration

o Use the time-tracking software system diligently.

o Attend team meetings as required.

o Attend training sessions as required.

o Prepare relevant feedback report(s) to management.

o Perform additional required admin functions, for example:

§ Updating and maintaining client sheets.

§ Updating and maintaining commission and incentive sheets.

§ Checking copy invoices.

Candidate Requirements
· Additional Responsibilities

o Do research for potential clients, along with suggestions for budgets, keywords, etc.

o Handle ad hoc graphic requests within the DCM’s skill set.

o Handle ad hoc PHP coding requests within the DCM’s skill set.

o Make small changes on client websites as requested and as part of the client’s contract.

o Assist the New Business Manager (NBM) with the analyses of prospective clients.

o Train relevant team members according to the schedule.

AD HOC RESPONSIBILITIES

The following roles and responsibilities won’t necessarily be the DCM’s main responsibilities within the Company, but might be expected and requested on an ad hoc basis:

Ensure that you have a good understanding and knowledge of Social Media platforms. These may include:

o Facebook;

o Instagram;

o LinkedIn; and

o Twitter.
Understanding of Social Media Paid Campaign Set-Up and Data Accuracy (Social Media Buying)

o Check that campaigns are approved and active.

o Check monthly budget spending and ensure that any over- or underspending is reported to the relevant parties.
