REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
Grade 12 (minimum) 5 years’ experience in inventory planning Literate in the English language Leadership qualities, able to work independently and make decisions Excellent level of numeracy Reliable, trustworthy, enthusiastic, hard worker, accurate Able to use initiative and pays close attention to detail, organised Accuracy with paperwork / documentation/ data capturing Computer literacy including Main Frame systems preferably MS Dynamics AX Excel advanced – experienced and capable of advanced usage Pleasant personality able to work with others in open-plan offices Willing to work overtime & after hours (which is the exception not the norm)
Responsibility: Preparation and analysis of Demand Plan monthly Preparation of Inventory Plan monthly Analysis of plan in time fence with 4 months lead time Amending plan according to Sales requirements and demand requirements Analysis of Production Plan and Purchase plan to meet correct inventory levels Creation of correct Planned Production/Purchase orders Monitoring of inventory levels daily to ensure no shortages are experienced Liaison with production department to ensure no shortages of supplies Conversion of Planned orders to Confirmed timeously for suppliers/production needs New Item master creation for ERP and WMS systems Controlling of stock for obsolescence or supersessions Control of Approved Supplier Pricing & Certifications Other duties as required
