Job Overview
The Warehouse assistant will assist in receiving, unpacking containers & putting them into stock and will be required to Deliver stock when necessary.
Areas of Responsibility (Your duties will include but are not limited to:)
- Ensure that pallets are always kept neat and tidy.
- Ensure that the floor is always clean during the shift.
- Stack-picked stock in neat arrangements to avoid/minimize damage.
- Work as part of a team and assist your co-employees.
- Supervisor is to double-check the order before taking the slip to Invoicing.
- Stocktake
- Assist in receiving, unpacking containers & putting them into stock.
- Pick the orders & then pack them on pallets for dispatch.
- Basic paperwork like making out transporter’s waybills.
- Must have a clean Driver’s license (Code 8) as may be required to Deliver stock when necessary.
Knowledge, skills, and experience required.
- Be able to read, write and speak in English and Afrikaans
- Must be physically fit to perform work duties.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
