Dawn Thandeka King warns of WhatsApp Scam

Dawn Thandeka King has warned fans against a WhatsApp scam that is doing the rounds in her name The Uzalo actress took to her Instagram account to reveal that a conman is posing as her in the hopes of soliciting money from people and promising them roles on the popular SABC 1 soapie.

The number in question contains her name, picture and a bio which even claims that she is a traditional healer. But Dawn has distanced herself from the perpetrator.

“This has nothing to do with me, nor my foundation, the SABC does not ever charge people to appear on television. It is sad that people would stoop this low. Please do not fall for this scam,” she told her fans.
