Purpose of Role:

The Data Capturer is a part-time position intended to assist the Business Development (BD) Administrator and Office Manager based at the Cape Town Office. The main purpose of the role is to assist with various responsibilities including but not limited to Data Capturing, completing expense claims and filing.

The role is part time based, contributing a minimum of 20 hours every 2nd week of the month.

Key Responsibilities:

Online and physical filing of financial documents and expense claims

Completing of expense claims

Gathering of receipts / slips for both credit card and cash expense claims

Completing of credit card claim forms

Completing of cash expense claim forms

Emailing credit and cash expense claim forms to relevant staff member for approval

Submitting completed claim forms to BD Administrator and Office Manager for approval and find sign off

Reconciliation of cash expenses

General administration support to the BD team

Any other duties, as assigned by (Line Manager position) in line with the role

Skills / Competencies:

Excellent attention to detail

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Able to prioritize and manage time effectively

Good planning and organizing skills

Action orientated, able to take tasks to completion

Experience, knowledge and qualification:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data capturing and general administration

Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in data capturing, filing and administration

Experience in working with MS Excel and Word

Financial administration background would be beneficial
