Full job description
Main Job Purpose:
Support the Department of Health through Direct service at facility level to carry out data-related admin work, capture patient files, generate defaulter reports, and compile monthly statistics.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Capture data daily of information acquired from all registers
- Ensure that data captured is stored in the prescribed manner and backed up on a regular basis
- Accurately enter M&E data in a timely manner
- Carry out Data quality assessments and audits with close guidance from HTS Coordinator
- Filing and administrative duties as required
- Ensure that the information is credible and that there are no duplications
- Ensure confidentiality of patient files and information
- Provide updates and training on data capturing systems
- Assist in testing data capturing systems
- Report problems relating to data collection to line manager as and when they occur
Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12
- Tertiary qualifications an added advantage
- Data capturing competency through experience or training
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Fast and accurate data capturing skills
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills
- Good facilitation and communication skills
- Ability to communicate in English and any of the provincial languages. Apply Now
