The main purpose of the job is to capture participant information accurately and timeously according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Duties & Responsibilities

Record and capture all clinical data from the Case Report Form (CRF) onto the electronic database.
Record all output from laboratory experiments
Liaise with project manager and clinical sites data capturers to ensure that all specimens have appropriate supporting data
Create a physical file for collating of all data samples
Ensure shipping manifestos are signed and sent back to the recruitment sites
Follow up on missing data with all relevant personnel on-site and off-site.
Provide weekly reports on data collected to the project manager.
Maintain client confidentiality.

Job Requirements:

Grade 12 or
Diploma in any Science or Computer Science discipline
Minimum 1-year data capture experience
Computer skills are a requirement
Experience working in a clinical trial environment
Good communication skills (both written and oral)
Reporting skills and time management skills
Ability to work under pressure and be pro-active
