Daniel Craig cried after watching No Time To Die for the first time

Daniel Craig had an emotional reaction to watching himself on screen in his last appearance as James Bond. The recent No Time To Die marked the English actor’s final appearance in the role. The 2021 film, directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, won an award for Best Editing at last night’s (March 13) BAFTAs, prompting co-editor Elliott Graham to share a behind-the-scenes story about how Craig was involved in the process.

Graham, who edited the action blockbuster together with Tom Cross, explained Craig was so emotional that he was actually in tears when he watched No Time To Die for the first time.
You know, I’ll tell a story that we’re not supposed to, but he watched the rough cut of the film by himself. And we were invited in a few minutes after the producers,” Graham said during the BAFTA winners’ press conference.

“And he was in tears. Because it was 18+ years of his life. And it meant that much to him.
