Jagersfontein residents left in the lurch after dam wall collapse

It’s been seven months since the Jagersfontein dam wall collapse, and residents have been left on their own.

A mine dam burst its walls in September, killing at least three people and sweeping away houses and cars.

Families have filed a lawsuit to sue the owners of the Free State diamond mine but according to reports, only two houses have been built, and people are unemployed and starving.

Residents are reportedly complaining of coughing, asthma, headaches, nosebleeds, and nightmares.
