The Company seeks a skilled and ambitious Creditors Clerk to join a dynamic financial team based in Paarden Eiland. The successful individual will be primarily responsible for the full creditors function, including payment preparation, reconciliations, and processing of all purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices for Spark’s main third-party installer.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the 3rd party supplier account,
Creditor’s reconciliations and payments, including creditors age analysis,
Improve processing efficiencies and drive system improvements and automation,
Assist with cash books, EFT payments, and deposits,
Preparation of monthly journals,
Preparation for and assisting with the company’s financial annual audit,
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers for best prices and payment terms,
Timeous query resolution,
Various ad hoc reconciliations,
Assistance with general office admin and filing,
Assistance with other creditors accounts where required,
Any other task that may be reasonably expected of you to perform.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Matric and relevant financial tertiary qualification,
Minimum of 3 years’ creditors experience,
Experience in Pastel Evolution is preferable,
Be a systematic, organized individual with the ability to negotiate pricing and payment terms,
Experience in the financial services industry is advantageous,
Fully computer literate,
Advanced Excel skills are required and
Be a reliable, responsible, proactive, hardworking individual.
