At least 109 more people are reported to have died of virus-related illnesses in the last 24 hours.
This brings the death toll to over 51,000.
Over 1,400 more COVID-19 cases have been reported.
But active cases continue to decline in the country.
There are currently just over 27,000 active cases down by almost 300 from Wednesday’s figures.
