Acting Chief Justice Raymond Zondo has expressed his concern over an attack on the Constitutional Court building.
Zondo has urged law enforcement to put proactive measures in place to prevent further attacks.
A 36-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday outside the court in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.
Police fired a warning shot to stop him from doing more damage.
The suspect has been charged with malicious damage to property and will appear in court soon.
It’s alleged that the attack was linked to the release of the state capture report.
It’s the second democratic institution coming under siege just this week.
