Job Purpose

Nedbank serves millions of customers ranging various segments, products and channels. With a key focus on growing the digital platforms of the bank, specifically acquiring clients digitally, growing the level of digitally active clients within the client base as well as the volume of digital activity, we are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Commercialisation Manager: CPT Emerging Payments.

Job Responsibilities

Facilitate the development of a commercial launch plan for each product introduction or packaging transition
Build project timelines and collaborate with the cross-functional teams on meeting the execution timing on key project activities.
Refine processes to ensure key steps are completed to avoid surprises or start-up issues
Lead internal communications around key dates, deliverables, and accountabilities
Be a liaison between cross-functional teams from Sales, Sourcing, Marketing, Finance, etc., to guide alignment on key decisions and coordination
Conduct regularly scheduled project task force meetings with a detailed agenda highlighting key action steps
For packaging transitions, analyze on-hand inventories of finished goods and raw materials to guide new material due dates and minimize write-offs
Appropriately balance process discipline with the need for process flexibility to capture growth opportunities in a dynamic, fast-paced consumer product marketplace.
Identify areas of improvement in the process and the end-to-end development of innovation to drive better decision making on resource prioritization & investment

Essential Qualifications – NQF Level

Diploma
Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Preferred Qualification

Postgraduate Degree or equivalent in a business or technical field such as Marketing, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science.

Minimum Experience Level

3-5 years of relevant experience in product development and management, product commercialization.
Strong product management background with a proven track record of defining product strategies, launching new products
