An 18-year-old college student was reportedly pushed from the seventh floor of a flat in Arcadia, in Pretoria. Police in the Capital says they have arrested two men linked to the incident.
The student was treated at a local hospital where he died. Cops say according to an eyewitness account, the victim was involved in an argument with the suspects before he was pushed. Brigadier Ramakamakama Kekana commended the officers who ensured that the suspects were brought to book.
“Informers and other ordinary members of the community must also be thanked for providing us information that led to both the identification and apprehension of the suspects,” said Kekana.
Cops spokesperson Captain Daniel Mavimbela said the suspects aged between 23 and 27 are expected to be charged with murder. Mavimbela said they will appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court soon.
