Duties:

Receive visitors and notify the relevant staff member
·
Taking and serving of customer orders as required
·
Preparation and serving of coffee, teas and various other hot and cold drinks
·
Serving of various cakes and pastries
·
Ordering and receiving of stock
·
Perform stock counts and ensure stock balances at all times
·
Ensuring stock has been GRV as per procedure
·
Maintain FIFO principles for all product
·
Operate the till, accurate handling of cash and daily cash up
·
Ensuring store, workstation and work areas are always clean, neat and tidy
·
Follow and maintain hygiene standards
·
General clerical duties answering phones/filing and perform any other duties as required
Required Skills
ms office : 1 to 2 years
barista : 2 to 3 years
Micros/GAAP POS : 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
Requirements:
·
Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent is preferred
·
2 Years Barista experience is ESSENTIAL
·
Customer interaction and Retail/Hospitality experience would be advantageous
·
Computer literacy
·
Knowledge of GAAP/Micros or similar POS system
·
High level of numeracy
·
Previous Barista/coffee making qualification would be beneficial
