Parliament’s ethics committee has found Police Minister Bheki Cele guilty of breaching the code of conduct for MPs.
Cele shouted at anti-crime activist Ian Cameron to “shut up”, during a SAPS imbizo held in Gugulethu last year.
He wagged his finger at Cameron, while saying in a threatening tone, “Don’t provoke me.”
Cameron says he was removed from the venue by police officials, and his clothes were damaged in the process.
The ethics committee wants Cele to apologize to Cameron in front of members of the National Assembly.
