Novus Print: Montague Gardens is seeking to appoint a Clerical Assistant within the Pre-Press department. The successful incumbent will report to the Pre-Press Manager.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Checking and distributing documents and correspondence
- Inputting and processing documents
- Assist the Pre – Press Manager with short-term departmental project implementation
- General administration
- Assist on enhancing the department’s performance by evaluating production trends of consumables
- Reporting on production administration
- Generating of purchase orders
- Data capturing of system updates, weekly and monthly
- Carrying out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, and scanning
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Educational Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Administration qualification will be advantageous
Experience Requirements:
- At least one years’ working experience in a manufacturing administration environment
- Work experience with MS Excel – graphs and charts
Skills and Competencies:
- Analytical skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Methodical and thorough approach to work
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail orientated
- Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
