Main Activities (Buildings):
a) Restrooms
· Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, etc.
· Replenishes bathroom supplies.
· Polishes metalwork such as fixtures and fittings
b) Floors
Sweeps, mops, vacuums, floors using brooms, mops, and vacuum cleaners.
Other floor work may be required such as scrubbing, waxing and polishing floors
c) Break rooms/kitchenettes
Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, refrigerators, etc.
Replenishes break room supplies
d) Dust
Dusts furniture, equipment, partitions, etc.
e) Trash
Empties wastebaskets and recyclables and transports to disposal area
f) Other duties
Cleans rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using vacuum cleaner and/or carpet cleaning machine
Washes walls and woodwork
Washes windows, door panels, partitions, sills, etc.
Everyday duties (Wash bays):
a) Inspect vehicle for any damage, and inform management immediately of such damage
b) Should any personal belongings be found in the vehicle, it must be reported to management immediately
c) Ensure equipment is well maintained, report defects
d) Process of cleaning vehicles:
Rinse with water
Was with soap effectively and efficiently
Rinse soap with clean water
Ensure that no spots/stains left on vehicle
Dry with cloths supplied
Remove carpets from vehicle
Wipe inside of vehicle (windows, dashboard, inside and outside of doors, etc) with clean cloth, if necessary use chemical after approval of management
Ensure that all spots/stains are removed
Vacuum carpets, rubber carpets must be cleaned with wet cloth
Vacuum inside of vehicle and ensure that it is cleaned properly
Clean tyres and mags properly and effectively with chemicals supplied
Ensure tyres get treatment
Ensure that all belongings (carpets as well as personal) are placed back in vehicle
Walk around vehicle and check inside of vehicle; ensure that vehicle is cleaned effectively and efficiently
