South Africa records another imported laboratory-confirmed case of cholera.
The 24-year-old man travelled to Pakistan and on his return to King Shaka International Airport, he showed severe symptoms of cholera.
He was rushed to a private hospital in Durban.
This case increases the total number of imported cholera cases recorded this year to three.
Two cases were detected in people who travelled from Malawi.
While the recent home-grown cholera outbreak is under control, Health Minister Joe Phaahla urges people to remain vigilant and practise impeccable personal hygiene at all times.
