Scope & General Purpose of the Job
To carry out all round Maintenance.
Line of Reporting and Communication
Responsible to: Maintenance Supervisor
Responsible for: All general carpentry (maintenance)
In communication with Project Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, Area Manager
Key Performance Areas:
Door Installation
Drywall repair
General carpentry
Basic Plumbing
Basic maintenance work (painting, tiling, bricklaying)
Troubleshooting of general problems
Competencies and Skills Requirements:
Numeracy Skills, able to perform and interpret job-related calculations accurately
Interpersonal Skills, able to develop effective interpersonal relationships with Internal and External Stakeholders
Communication Skills, able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing
Problem-solving skills, able to access and solve problems effectively
Attention to detail
Detail orientated
Physical arm strength
Additional Skills Requirements:
Mathematical skills
Basic electrical (an advantage)
Basic plumbing
Education / Qualification and Experience Requirements
Minimum Education / Qualification: Grade 12 / or equivalent (N3)
Minimum level/years of Experience: 2 / 3 Years’ experience in a similar role
