Western Cape: At 18H20 Thursday evening, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on Nelson Mandela Boulevard in Cape Town.
Reports indicate that a bus and car were involved in a collision.
When medics arrived on the scene they found two occupants, an adult male and an adult female of the car trapped underneath the bus.
Western Cape Metro Rescue used hydraulic equipment to lift the bus off the car while medics treated and stabilized the injured.
Once freed, both patients who had sustained minor to moderate injuries were transported by ambulance to the hospital for further care.
