Senzo Meyiwa trial: Kelly Khumalo received calls from hitman, court hears

SAPS National Cold Case Unit Colonel Lambertus Steyn says singer Kelly Khumalo received calls from a number linked to one of the men accused of killing former Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa.

Lambertus Steyn told the Pretoria high court that accused number five, Fisokuhle Ntuli called Khumalo twice on 2 August 2014 and 15 October 2014.

Meyiwa was killed in October 2014.

The murder took place at the Vosloorus home of his then-girlfriend, singer Kelly Khumalo.

Five men are on trial for the killing.
