Cable theft headache for Joburg

As South Africans brace for more blackouts, Johannesburg City officials are also worried about infrastructure damage.

They say rolling power cuts are enabling cable thieves.

The city says it’s losing three-million rand daily to cable theft and damage.

Officials visited some affected areas to assess the impact.
