What’s the role?
You will be responsible for:
Support to marketing manager
Brand Establishment & Corporate Identity Development
Presentation assistance
Assisting with branding campaigns
Initiation & Implementation of Marketing Campaigns
Working with marketing manager to produce valuable and engaging content for our different product lines, new products and brands for our monthly catalogue as well as our digital channels – our websites, social media pages, emailer and other marketing campaigns that attracts and converts our target
Assisting in the conceptualization of the brand, logo, corporate Identity and market positioning of existing and new products and brands
Assisting with the drafting, set-up and distribution of all email marketing campaigns
Assisting with the development and production of all copy, content and marketing Initiatives.
Assist in putting together full design briefs and layouts for websites, brochures and any other marketing print and digital media
Assisting with the drafting of the PR campaign and plan
Assist with defining of marketing strategy and implementation timeline, including: Social media, Digital marketing, Email campaigns, Catalogue roll-out, Sales Force Support.
Facilitating the coordination of Marketing Documents and channels which include:
Working alongside the marketing manager to produce and procure the content/copy
Drafting and creating the design brief including all input data: pictures, content, logo’s etc
Deciding on layout, key components and overall look and feel
Ensuring the document is shared with the relevant teams and is uploaded where necessary
Monitoring the performance and results of the campaigns
Catalogue coordination: Liaison with Category managers, understanding their products, initiating marketing angles with marketing manager and briefing designers accordingly
Coordination of priorities and timelines between category managers and design team
Facilitating Social Media:
Drafting and setting up social media plans and strategies
Taking pictures and videos at the monthly meetings for social media use
Assist in managing and implementing on company social media strategy, presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition
Editing of social media content: videos, pictures, creatives, gifs
Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation.
Monitor online reviews.
Facilitating of Digital Marketing Initiatives
Assisting marketing manager with all digital marketing initiatives
Website design (front end only)
Creation of online adverts, online PR,
Monthly emailer content creation

Matric
Relevant tertiary degree /diploma in marketing or communications
3-years minimum experience in Branding, marketing, and communications
InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator experience
