Beyonce pays tribute to South African Music

Beyonce pays tribute to South African Music. Now it seems she may have heard our cry as she took to Instagram to pay tribute African designers, and even featured a video of her performance from the festival.

After the Global Citizen Festival held in Johannesburg on 2 December, Beyoncé jetted off to India, where she performed at a wedding. Although she received a lot of love and support in Mzansi, the multi-award-winning singer didn’t share any of her images from her trip in SA. However, she was quick to post pictures from India, and this didn’t sit well with her fans in Mzansi.

What got many South Africans excited was the fact that she used DJ Maphorisa and DJ Raybel’s iWalk Ye Phara as the background music. The hit song features Moonchild Sanelly, Zulu Mkhathini and K.O.

BeyonceShe posted the video below on her Instagram Account:

Many of her fans took to twitter to express their excitement while the man of the hour, DJ Maphorisa, expressed his gratitude, even claiming that Beyoncé herself said iWalk Ye Phara is the song of the year. We find it very difficult to disagree with that statement.
