‘I will always love you’: Babes Wodumo’s emotional message to her late husband Mampintsha (Audio)

Famous Mzansi singer, and dancer, Babes Wodumo has shared an emotional WhatsApp voice message to her late husband Big Nuz member Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo, who died on December 24 2022 after complications from a stroke.

The singer is heard expressing her love for Mampintsha while crying in November 2023.

I want you to know one thing. I love you. I will always love you. I love you baby. I know you don’t like it when I cry but I love you.”

When recently celebrating Mampintsha’s heavenly birthday, Babes took to Instagram, posting memories they shared together.

Babes has been openly grieving the loss of the father of her son.

After the funeral, Babes had to face the reality that her husband was dead and she was left to pick up the pieces as a single mother to their two-year-old son. Babes’ sister Nondumiso Simelane told TshisaLIVE the Wololo hitmaker was struggling to come to terms with the death of her partner.

“The sad thing is the bed is empty and she needs to take up more responsibilities. Babes is strong. What I like about her is she didn’t change her character,” Nondumiso said.

She said a grieving Babes catches herself calling out for her sweetheart.
