Babes Wodumo’s most hilarious moments of 2019

It’s safe to say 2019 has seen Babes Wodumo fall from grace – at least when it comes to her personal life She’s been hit by scandal after scandal and her name has been dragged through the mud over her doings throughout the year. And it doesn’t look like she’s done just yet!

Take a look at Babes’ most bizarre moments of 2019…

Babes Wodumo

Exposing Mampintsha for abuse – and then dropping the charge

Nobody can forget the video Babes uploaded to social media of angry Mampintsha hurling insults at her and slapping her.

It’s a moment we’d all like to forget. Unfortunately, Mampintsha never faced the consequences of his actions… well, because Babes withdrew charges of assault against him.

Assaulting another woman

Babes, alongside her sister and muso Tipcee, were accused of beating up an unknown Durban woman.

To add insult to injury, Babes was pictured doing the Vosho outside the court and posing for pics which she uploaded to her social media account.

That awkward hot tub video

It wasn’t long after, that Babes rekindled her romance with her manager, Mampintsha.

The pair proclaimed their love for one another in a very cringy video posted to social media of themselves in a hot tub.

Bonnie & Clyde tour backlash

Talk about a PR stunt gone wrong! Babes & Mampintsha were dragged to hell and back for a poster – a visual that bared resemblance to the murder of Reeva Steenkamp – for their nation-wide tour.

Worst still, fans vowed to boycott the tour altogether!

The mysterious case of her hacked Twitter account

From sharing her phone number with fans, to throwing shade at fellow celebs, to posting racist and xenophobic tweets, Babes’ Twitter account has seen it all!

Funny enough, the hacker vowed to return the account to Babes – something we’re not sure has even happened!

Denying bullying Lady Zamar

Babes did the most to convince us that she DID NOT cyber bully Lady Zamar.

But the truth always comes to light and after months of denial, the gqom singer finally admitted it was true!.

Teasing a pregnancy

Babes was thriving in the spotlight of all the bad press and used the media to tease a ‘special announcement’. Many thought it was a pregnancy announcement, given that Babes was pictured wearing loose clothing at the time.

It turns out, it was just over a new song!

Not paying a cab driver!

Babes may be rolling in the Mandelas, but she obviously didn’t have enough (or didn’t want) to pay a cab driver.

A few years ago, Babes was accused of owing a salon thousands of Rands after borrowing a couple of colourful wigs! Humm…

Ed Sheeran cover

Babes & Mampintsha took a major L when they claimed the song they lip-synced for was one of Stevie Wonder’s when it actually belonged to Ed Sheeran!

Epic fail!

Their new reality TV gig

Babes & Mampintsha faced fresh scrutiny over their decision to let their toxic romance be filmed for reality show Skipha AmaFiles.

Do they really want to air more dirty laundry?

Viral pic

Nothing was more bizarre than a pic circulating of a rather ratchet looking Babes Wodumo, which reveals her drastic weight loss and unkempt appearance.

A few days after the pic went viral, Babes tweeted; “Pray for me”.

Does Babes need to end 2019 with an intervention?
