Deputy President David Mabuza says ANC branches must decide who forms part of the party’s leadership.
But, if nominated, Mabuza says he will avail himself.
He was speaking during his visit to KwaZulu-Natal to meet with His Majesty King Misuzulu KaZwelithini.
“We don’t just make ourselves available, our branches will nominate and beggars can’t be choosers otherwise we can ride our horses,” he said.
“So we are serving the people, and if requested, we’ll avail ourselves in whatever portfolio and capacity.”
