Assistant Commercial Broker Wanted – Apply:

A commercial property brokerage based in Cape Town but active both nationally and internationally.

We have a commercial leasing division. A team of two brokers focused predominantly on the CBD in Cape Town. We have another broker focused on Century City.

We would like to employ an Assistant Commercial Broker.

Criteria:

– Candidate should be Capetonian or having lived here for some time

– With an interest in the property and looking to establish a career in the industry.

– With a minimum 1 years of property experience in Commercial Leasing and/or Sales

– With a basic understanding of legal contracts (Sales or Lease Agreements)

– Competent on a computer. Working knowledge of excel.

– With own transport and comfortable travelling around Cape Town as required

Daily Tasks:

Calling property owners and tenants

– Arranging, and at times attending property viewings with clients.

– Compiling property profiles for marketing purposes

– Working with our PA to assist with admin tasks at times.

– Co-coordinating with suppliers/providers at times.

– Managing property signage as required

– Sense of Urgency

– Attention to detail (Gets it right first time)

– Reliable (Always available within required hours. Manages and priorities tasks effectively)

– Thick skinned (Can handle intense pressure in short bursts)

– Confident (No reservations when making calls or meeting clients)

Remuneration

– A basic salary

– A percentage of commission earned

– The package will be structured dependent on the specific candidate.
