Job description:
This opportunity would be responsible for assisting with administration in the PSG Distribution Insure Finance team, to cover for maternity leave for 5 to 6 months.
Responsibilities:
Journals, importing / exporting and processing up to trial balance
Accounts payable and receivable
Electronic funds transfers
Income and payments on bank statement to balance to cashbook
Correct account, cost centre and company allocations
Invoices to be checked
Balance sheet reconciliations and allocations
Payroll recons
Assist with vat recons
Respond to financial and regional managers queries
Prepare monthly reporting schedules, including variance reporting
Manage administrative documentation (detailed records)
Build and maintain good working relationships
Minimum requirements:
BCom Financial Management Degree
2 years experience in a similar role
MS Suite experience (proficient MS Excel skills)
Recommended requirements:
Accpac proficient
Competencies:
Self-motivated
Attention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Resilient
Ability to work under pressure
