Arms cache discovered in Malmesbury

Western Cape Police have uncovered an arms cache in an industrial area of Malmesbury.

Police pounced on a locked warehouse after following several leads in the area.

They had been surveilling the property for 2 days.

Police found 44 firearms, 11 parts, several rounds of ammunition, and substantial quantities of gunpowder.

A 62-year-old naturalized South African of German descent has since been taken into custody.

The funeral of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes will not be live-streamed or televised. This as the family of the late rapper asked for privacy to bid him farewell.

AKA was shot and killed outside a restaurant on Florida Road in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, last Friday, and will be buried by his family and close friends today. Even though there have been videos online of the procession to the cemetery, the funeral will not be aired. Learn More
