To provide a professional, efficient and effective service to support the general functioning of the business.
As part of the Supply Chain organisation, your purpose is to align with product to be delivered on-time, in-full, in-quality, at the right price to customers.
Assist with picking orders accurately according to invoice.
Offload and deliver products to customers as required.
First line support to customer queries i.e. short deliveries that need to be documented and reported back to the office, other queries and concerns.
Maintain professional, courteous and friendly interface with visitors/ customers at all times.
Support driver to operate vehicle efficiently and safely eg. directions, communication with office.
Assist with packing boxes for orders sent via Couriers and correctly filling out waybills.
Assist with stock takes.
Make notes on appropriate documentation of any new broken bags and seal them immediately.
Assist in separating old and new stock as instructed.
Assist in making sure that products are rotated and stacked according to expiry dates.
Assist with replenishment of inventory from bulk to pick faces, ensuring adequate quantities for next day picking.
Assist with receiving, quality check and stock take all stock deliveries and report variances
Handling products with care at all times, in order to minimize damages
Assist in the process of managing returned stock
Making sure Bounce Backs / First Experience Packs are up to date at all times.
Report Warehouse stationery / packaging material shortages to Stock Controller / Manager.
Keeping the warehouse neat and in order always.
Required to wear the company uniform provided at all times when on duty.
Help keep the delivery vehicles clean inside and out.
Adhere to Health and Safety practices.
Assist with Recycling and Upcycling initiatives.
Any other ad hoc duties.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence essential
Matric certificate (preferrable)
Excellent Communication skills
Reading and writing literacy and basic mathematics
Customer Service oriented
Honest and reliable
Organised
Participate and contribute to a culture of Continuous Improvement
