ANC spokesperson Pule Mabe says the party may have to consider retrenchments.
This as the party continues to face financial trouble and is struggling to pay its staff.
Mabe says cutting down on employees is part of the organization’s redesign plan.
Meanwhile, some ANC staff are on an indefinite stay away until their outstanding salaries are paid in full.
The party employees were previously told that they would be paid what’s owed to them by 21 January.
Zimasa Makata, a staff representative committee member, says only some salaries were paid and the situation is becoming worse by the day.
