ANC blames blackouts and tribalism for poor showing at polls

Today is the final day of the ANC NEC meeting.

The party is meeting for the first time since its poor performance at the polls.

Over the last two days it introspected on the causes of its decline in electoral support.

It has cited tribalism, blackouts, and water challenges as factors that led to its lackluster performance.

Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula will give an update on deliberations.

The party then heads into a Lekgotla on Sunday.
