Administrasie en finansiële ondersteuning van organisatoriese versekeringseise (intern en ekstern) op ‘n effektiewe en doeltreffende wyse wat in lyn is met die finansiële beleid en prosedures van die Universiteit Stellenbosch;
Administrasie en nakoming van alle vereistes kragtens die Universiteit Stellenbosch se versekeringsbeleide;
Verwerking van die daaglikse prosesse rakende die rekeningkundige teboekstelling van versekeringsbetalings;
Hulpverlening met bateregistertransaksies, navrae en die instandhouding van die bateregister;
Hulpverlening aan en kommunikasie van die nakomingsprosedures van bate- en versekeringsprosesse aan alle belanghebbendes;
Akkurate en tydige verwerking en administrasie (aansoeke, verwerking van betalings, rekonsiliasies en rapportering) van kommunikasie (selfoon en SMS) kontrakte, data-kontrakte en televisielisensies volgens nakomingsvereistes;
Rekonsiliëring, verwerking en maandelikse verslagdoening van statistieke van versekeringsdata;
Hantering van navrae van interne en eksterne belanghebbendes (personeel / studente / publiek / verskaffers / makelaars) rakende versekeringseise;
Hantering van die administrasie, met inbegrip van die opvolg van bestuurstate met die fondsbestuurders en die rekonsiliëring daarvan, asook die rekeningkundige teboekstelling van maandelikse beleggingstransaksies;
Skakeling met die batebestuurders rakende die implementering van alle organisatoriese besluite/mandate en verslagdoening;
Hulpverlening aan die sekretariaat van die Beleggingskomitees van die Universiteit Stellenbosch en Stellenbosch Trust met administratiewe take;
Hulpverlening met die US Beleggingspoel se rekeningkundige transaksies en rekonsiliasies en die opstel van verslae vir bestuur en ander belanghebbendes;
Hulpverlening met die administrasie en teboekstelling van beleggings vir afhandeling van jaareind- en ouditprosedures;
Administrasie van die nakoming van finansiële beleide en prosedures van toepassing op die afdeling;
Hantering van telefoniese, instap- en e-posnavrae oor finansiële prosedures en stelsels van die afdeling;
Lewer insette en hulp met ontwikkeling en integrasie van IT stelsels van toepassing op die omgewing;
Algemene hulpverlening met ad hoc-take soos vereis.
Administration and financial support of organisational insurance claims (internal and external) in an effective and efficient manner in line with financial policies and procedures of Stellenbosch University;
Administration and compliance of all requirements in terms of Stellenbosch University’s insurance policies;
Processing the daily accounting transactions in terms of insurance payments;
Assisting with asset register transactions, queries and maintenance of asset register;
Assisting with and communicating compliance procedures of asset and insurance processes to all stakeholders;
Accurate and timeous processing and administration (applications, processing of payments, reconciliations and reporting) of communication (cell phone and SMS) contracts, data contracts and television licences according to compliance requirements;
Reconciliation, processing and monthly reporting of statistics of insurance data;
Handling enquiries from internal and external stakeholders (staff/students/public /suppliers/brokers) regarding insurance claims;
Handling the administration, including the follow up of statements with fund managers and the reconciliation thereof) as well as accounting transactions of monthly investment transactions;
Liaising with fund managers regarding the implementation of all organisational decisions/mandates and reporting;
Assisting the secretariat of the Investment Committees of Stellenbosch University and Stellenbosch Trust with administrative duties;
Assisting with the SU Investment Pool’s accounting transactions and reconciliations, as well as compiling reports for management and other stakeholders;
Assisting with the administration and processing of investments for completion of year end and audit procedures;
Administration of the compliance of financial policies and procedures applicable to the Division;
Handling telephonic, walk-in and e-mail enquiries regarding financial procedures and systems of the Division;
Giving input and assistance with the development and integration of IT systems relevant to the Division;
General assistance with ad hoc duties as required.

‘‘n Drie jaar Finansiële Diploma met Rekeningkunde as hoofvak;
Bewese toepaslike ervaring in ‘n soortgelyke omgewing;
Gevorderde rekenaarvaardighede in MS Office (Excel, Word en PowerPoint) en Outlook;
Goeie administratiewe en organisatoriese vaardighede en ervaring daarin;
Vermoë om eie tydsbeplanning te kan doen;
Vermoë om selfstandig en effektief onder druk te werk en sperdatums na te kom;
Vermoë om in spanverband te funksioneer;
Goeie mondelinge en skriftelike kommunikasievaardighede;
Goeie interpersoonlike vaardighede;
Uitstekende ervaring van kliëntediens aan interne en eksterne belanghebbendes;
Vermoë om vertroulikheid te respekteer en handhaaf.
A three-year Financial Diploma with Accountancy as major;
Proven relevant experience in a similar environment;
Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Excel; Word and PowerPoint) and Outlook;
Excellent administrative and organisational skills and experience thereof;
Ability to do own time management;
Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines;
Ability to function in a team;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Sound interpersonal skills;
Excellent experience of client service to internal and external stakeholders;
Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality.

Ervaring in die Universiteit Stellenbosch se finansiële omgewing;
‘‘n BCom-graad met Rekeningkunde.
Experience in Stellenbosch University’s financial environment;
