As a new judge replacing Unathi Nkayi, Thembi Seete made several headlines with her fashion. She showed South Africa her other side alongside Somizi, and they clashed, disagreeing on and off the stage.

All this came after Somizi disagreed with Unathi during her last days at Idols SA. When she clashed with Somizi, fans argued a lot, with some saying she would not finish the season.
