Zim President Mnangagwa visits victims injured after his assassination attempt. After surviving what is believed to be an attempt on his life, Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa has visited victims who were injured in the explosion that happened in Bulawayo.
The Zimbabwean President had gone to Bulawayo doing a star rally in Matabeleland were its believed he has a number of enemies there due to the Gukurahundi saga. After delivering his speech the president was on his way leaving, and an explosion happened seconds after leaving the stage where he gave his speech.
The explosion resulted in injuring one of the two Vice President VP Kembo Mohadi and Mary Chiwenga the wife of the other Vice President Constantino Chiwenga. After surviving the attempt the President was asked about his health and his thoughts on the attempt and this is what he replied, “I am more worried about you than myself”
