Videos coming in from Zambia show that Zambians have decided to take a stand against the Xenophobic Attacks in South Africa. They are seen marching to the South African Embassy protesting and singing.
Watch the live video below of how Zambians are protesting the treatment of foreigners.
Leading the protests are the University of Zambia (UNZA) students and they are holding banners calling for peace amongst Africans. Yesterday Zambia cancelled the friendly match against South Africa in a stand against violence on Foreigners in Mzansi.
Another picture doing the rounds on social media shows that Shoprite Store in Zambia was attacked. Glass doors were broken and people gathered to take pictures of the attack. We are not clear as to which Shoprite was hit but it’s clear the Zambians are taking a stand and fighting back.
We will keep you updated as to what transpired but at the moment it’s clear Zambians are willing to take a stand against Xenophobia by boycotting South African companies and products.
