Yvonne Chaka Chaka and her hubby celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary today – The Princess of Africa took to Instagram to post a beautiful message to her husband to acknowledge their special jubilee – Fans flooded Yvonne’s post with congratulatory messages and best wishes for their long-lasting marriage.
It’s not often that we see a couple reach an incredible milestone like 30 years of marriage in today’s world, which is why an occasion like this is really special to legendary veteran singer, Yvonne Chaka Chaka and her hubby, Dr Mandlalele Mhinga.
Yvonne took to Instagram this morning to share her special day with her fans. She posted a diagram which emphasises the significance of 7 October. She wrote: “God is amazing all the time. 30 years ago Dr Mhinga asked for my hand in marriage and I said Yes I DO. 30 years later we still together. Today is our 30th wedding anniversary. I can not stop thanking the Lord who brought us together, I was 24. Now I am 54 and we have been together for 30 years. Time flies, 7th October 1989 we said Yes We Do. We Thank You Lord. We thank our families, our children and our friends. And all those who have supported us and encouraged us a big Thank you. Tiny.
Yvonne also posted a sweet video of her and Dr Mhinga during a photo shoot, where the photographer asked him to kiss his wife, but he felt really shy to do that in front of others.
