Gauteng: At 13H21 Monday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a pedestrian-vehicle collision at a residence in Elardus Park Pretoria.
Reports from the scene alledge that an adult female had been crushed after her car rolled forward pinning her against the driveway gate.
When medics arrived on scene assessed they found the patient in a serious condition and required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilise her.
Due to the nature of her injuries a Netcare helicopter ambulance was activated to airlift the patient to a specialist facility for further treatment.
