Woman left critical after taxi crashes in her car

At 08H43 Wednesday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the corners of Alice and Sandhurst in Sandhurst Ext 3, Sandton.

Reports from the scene indicate that a mini-bus taxi and a light motor vehicle were involved in a collision.

Paramedics assessed the scene and found that the driver of the car, an adult female was already being treated by an ambulance crew.

The patient required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilise her and once stabilised was transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
