Voting temporarily stopped in Norton #ZimElections2018 #ZimDecides2018. Voting stopped after fire breaks out at the New Donnington Farm polling station in Norton.

Fire

Long lines formed outside many polling stations in Harare, the capital, and elsewhere. At New Donnington Farm voting has been stopped due to the fire. It is not known yet to what caused the fire. There is now fear that many voters might not have an opportunity to cast their votes.

Anyone in line as of the 19:00 closing time could still vote, though opposition parties were concerned that their supporters could drift away if forced to wait for hours.
