Mzansi media personality Somizi Mhlongo enjoys bubble baths, beach views, and brunches in the scenic city of Cape Town.
Following the abuse allegations made against him by his estranged husband, Mohale Motaung, Somizi had to “take some time off” from work. Both Metro FM and Idols SA announced the media personality’s “time off” without a date of return.
While fans were missing him on both shows, the media personality confirmed that he was unemployed via his friend and television presenter Lerato Kganyago’s Instagram story on Wednesday 8 September.
In the video shared on Lerato Kganyago’s Instagram Somizi was in the middle of a shopping spree when he walked towards the camera and said “this is what unemployment looks like”.
Is this really what unemployment looks like? Since the former Idols SA judge lost his radio and television gigs, he has still maintained his best soft life.
Somgaga’s visit to Cape Town comes just a week after Mohale Motaung was out and about in the same city.
A look into Somizi’s vacy
On Sunday 26 September, he jetted off to Cape Town for a luxurious vacation packing his Louis Vuitton bags along with his Louis Vuitton blanket.

This may be a little dial down from his “bestiecation” with Vusi Nova in February. Somizi hopped on a private jet for a two-hour flight to Cape Town and landed in a different outfit. The pair then cruised around the ocean in a luxurious yacht.
A MYSTERY MAN
In one of the videos posted to the media personality’s Instagram story he seemed to be grabbing a bite with a mystery man.
According to his Instagram stories the “mystery man” whose face he did not reveal may go by the Instagram handle @ndomaleho.
