Ukhozi FM’s midday radio host 1223 Cafè, Selby “Selbyeonce” Mkhize is set to host the tell-all finale of a hit reality show Umndeni, which airs on Moja Love. The hit reality show has become a fan-favourite to many, and it always has avid watchers of it on the edge of their seats, to witness some intense drama and happy moments from their favorite characters.
Umndeni explores issues of polygamy, gender, sexuality, and traditional practices but there’s also entertainment on a purely practical level as these eight people try to live together.
The show captures Alpheus Maseko, in a polygamist relationship with a family of two wives and five husbands who are traditional healers and Isangomas.
On the tell-all most anticipated finale episode which is a reunion to air on the 30th of June 2020, radio broadcaster Selby Mkhize, will take the audience and cast down memory lane to the journey on the show.
Selby cannot contain his excitement about hosting the season finale, “I am so excited to be part of such a reality show that tells stories of us the LGBTI community, even better this is happening during international Pride month. I am honored,” said Selby Mkhize.

“Selbeyonce is the chosen host for the Umndeni Finale because he is one of the most popular loved Ukhozi FM Personalities who have broke barriers and stigmas around Homosexuality.
Selbeyonce has managed to change the Narrative and was nominated for the Mzansi Magic Viewers Choice Award in 2020 for the Best Radio Personality. So now as Mojalove, we are putting the radio voice on TV,” said Lindiwe Mbonambi, head of Marketing at Moja Love
Lindiwe said avid-watchers of the show, can expect a lot as some tough questions will be answered.
They can expect an exciting finale where revelations are made and all questions will be answered. It will be different in that it will focus on the numbers of issue that took place within the show between the various participants,” she said
